Abstract
La presencia de contaminantes en los cuerpos de agua es uno de los mayores problemas que se presentan en nuestro medio natural. La introducción de estas sustancias en las fuentes de agua, por vertimientos incontrolados de uso doméstico, comercial e industrial; provocan un impacto a corto, mediano plazo sobre la fuente receptora; por esto, algunos vertidos, están generando problemas ambientales como alteraciones en las fuentes hídricas y problemas de salubridad que afectan el sistema digestivo, la presencia de vectores (moscas, zancudos), muerte de fauna y flora; y que en forma acumulativa se convierten en impactos significativos al estilo de vida de las comunidades aledañas, a la salud y al paisaje natural del entorno.
Teniendo en cuenta el interés en esta temática, este trabajo se centra en la evaluación y análisis de la información respecto a los vertimientos provenientes de un Establecimiento Penitenciario de Orden Nacional con descarga a un cuerpo de agua, los cuales contaminan y causan impacto negativo sobre el medio ambiente;
de acuerdo a lo anteriormente expuesto se hace necesario analizar alternativas que ayuden a mitigar y prevenir los impactos ambientales negativos al recurso y con estas soluciones disminuir al máximo los impactos negativos que se puedan producir y de esta forma cumplir con toda la normatividad ambiental vigente.The presence of contaminants in water bodies is one of the biggest problems that occur in our environment. The introduction of these substances in water sources, by uncontrolled dumping of domestic, commercial and industrial use; cause an impact in the short, medium term for receiving source; For this, some discharges are creating environmental problems such as changes in water sources and health problems affecting the digestive system, the presence of vectors (flies, mosquitoes), death of fauna and flora; and cumulatively significant impacts become the lifestyle of the surrounding communities, health and the natural landscape of the environment.
Given the interest in this subject, this work focuses on the evaluation and analysis of information regarding the discharges from a Penitentiary Establishment of National Order with discharge to a water body, which pollute and cause negative impact on the environment; according to the above it is necessary to analyze alternatives to help mitigate and prevent negative environmental impacts and resource these solutions reduce to a minimum the negative impacts that may occur and thus comply with all applicable environmental regulation
