There is an increasing demand worldwide to create new curricula for ecological agricultural curricula in higher education. In the same time in Europe since “Bologna” 1999 a special accreditation process for new courses of studies has started and developed common standards for higher education. Based on the experiences at the University of Kassel the authors propose specific standards which meet the special need of ecology and organic agriculture for new BSc or MSc programs
