VISTA-Tanzania,  RTB, CIP www.rtb.cgiar.org VIABLE SWEETPOTATO TECHNOLOGIES IN AFRICA - TANZANIA PROJECT Viable Sweetpotato Technologies in Africa-Tanzania (VISTA-Tanzania) project is a three-year initiative that was designed to expand the production & utilization of nutritious orange-fleshed sweetpotato (OFSP) in seven districts in Mbeya, Iringa & Morogoro Regions being part of the USAID-FtF zones of influence in Tanzania. The purpose of the project was to contribute to food security & fight against vitamin A deficiency in the target districts and beyond. The project has four objectives with an array of immediate & intermediate outcomes for the intended goals.
