This research is motivated by a number of students who use computers for study activities. From this it appears possible that an attitude toward computers. To take measurements of attitudes in the use Computer Anxiety Rating Scale and Computer Attitude Scale. Variables used in this study is a factor of anxiety (fear), anticipation (anticipation), pessimism (pesimism), and optimism (optimism) as independent variables while, the dependent variable in this study is the use of computers.
This study aims to determine the factors that influence the use of computers among students. The samples used were 71 respondents from Musi-Charitas Catholic University student, Faculty of Science and Technology in 2015 with a class of non-probability sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis was used as the data analysis technique.
The results showed that the variable of fear (fear), anticipation (anticipation), and pessimism (pesimism) no significant effect on the use of computers among students. Variable optimism (optimism) effect on the use of computers among students. And the four variables are variables anxiety (fear), anticipation (anticipation), pessimism (pesimism), and optimism (optimism) jointly affect the use of computers among students
