Abstract
O presente trabalho pretende elucidar sobre a investigação do Serviço Social Português em torno do tema diversidade de género. O interesse sobre o tema partiu da experiência no estágio curricular obrigatório durante a Licenciatura e a disciplina de género enquanto aluna no curso de Serviço Social na Universidade Federal Fluminense. Nosso objetivo é realizar uma análise dos resultados em torno da produção académica pós-graduada (Mestrado e Doutoramento) em Serviço Social. Sendo a estratégia metodológica a busca teses e dissertações, nos repositórios da IES, a partir de descritores que permitiram identificar o debate de género para além da heteronormatividade. As principais conclusões demonstram que o tema não possui expressividade numérica na Academia, entretanto, as temáticas trabalhadas em torno da diversidade de género apresentam discussões dotadas de criticidade e compromisso ético, identificando pré-conceitos diante das relações sociais da população LGBT desde o passado até os dias atuais. / The present work intends to elucidate on the investigation of the Portuguese Social Service around the theme of gender diversity. The interest on the theme came from the experience in the mandatory curricular internship during the Licentiate degree and the gender discipline as a student in the Social Work course at Universidade Federal Fluminense. Our goal is to conduct an analysis of the results around the postgraduate academic production (Master and PhD) in Social Work. As the methodological strategy is the search for theses and dissertations, in the IES repositories, based on descriptors that allowed the identification of the gender debate beyond heteronormativity. The main conclusions demonstrate that the theme has no numerical expressiveness in the Academy, however, the themes worked around gender diversity present discussions endowed with criticality and ethical commitment, identifying preconceptions regarding the social relations of the LGBT population from the past to the current days
