El presente trabajo analiza cómo una de las propiedades inmuebles más importantes del concejo de Baeza, la denominada "Dehesa de la Torre de Don Ibáñez" pasó a engrosar las propiedades de uno de los linajes más importantes de la zona: los Quesada, regidores de Baeza y señores de Garciez y Santo Tomé, gracias a una donación de la Corona en principio de carácter vitalicio, pero que con el timepo, y gracias a sucesivos privilegios, se convirtió en perpetua, pese a los continuos intentos por parte del concejo de Baeza por conseguir recuperarla. Así, además de analizar esa problemática, estudiamos su cambio de sistema de explotación cuando se convirtió en propiedad privada, respecto a las etapas anteriores y el valor económico para el linaje.This article analyses one of the most important properties of the council of Baeza, the called one "the pasture of the Torre de Don Ibáñez" happened to increase the properties of one of the most important lineages of the zone: the Quesada, aldermen of Baeza and lords of Garcíez and Santo Tomé, thanks to a dnation of the Crown at first of life character, but that with the time, and thanks to succesive privileges, turned in perpetual, in spite of the continuos attempts on the part of the council of Baeza for managing to recover her.
