Kepemimpinan Visioner, Iklim Sekolah, Continuing Professional Development Dan Kepuasan Kerja Guru SMP

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kepemimpinan visioner, iklim sekolah dan Continuing Professional Development (CPD) terhadap kepuasan kerja guru pada sekolah menengah pertama di Kota Cimahi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 42,2%, iklim sekolah berkontribusi sebesar 65,8% dan Continuing Professional Development berkontribusi sebesar 12,3%. Secara bersama-sama, kepemimpinan visioner, iklim sekolah dan Continuing Professional Development berkontribusi sebesar 67,4% sedangkan 32,6% sisanya merupakan kontribusi dari faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Disarankan agar (1) Kepala sekolah SMP di Kota Cimahi sebaiknya mendapatkan workshop tentang implementasi praktis kepemimpinan visioner. KKKS dapat menjadi media tukar pikiran, pengetahuan dan pengalaman untuk mencari alternatif pemecahan masalah; (2) Sangat disarankan agar kepala sekolah mengkomunikasikan visi dan misi sekolah secara rutin. Kepala sekolah sebaiknya memiliki ketrampilan komunikasi dan persuasi yang baik sehingga dapat mempengaruhi banyak pihak untuk tetap menjalankan program sesuai visi misi sekolah, bahkan ketika dihadang oleh hambatan dan tantangan.The intention of this research is to find out the contribution of visionary leadership, the school climate and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) toward the junior high school teacher\u27s work satisfaction at Cimahi Municipality. This study uses a quantitative approach, the method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that visionary leadership has contributed 42,2 % to the teacher\u27s work satisfaction; the school climate has contributed 65.8%, while Continuing Professional Development only contributed 12.3%. Simultaneously, visionary leadership, school climate and Continuing Professional Development contributed 67,4%, while the remaining 32,6% is contributed by other factors which are not examined in this study. It is suggested that (1) the principals of junior high school in Cimahi Municipality should to engage in a workshop about practical visionary leadership. KKKS or the Principal\u27s Group Work can be a medium for exchanging knowledge and skill to find alternatives for problem solving; (2) The school\u27s vision and mission should be well communicated regularly
