Abstract

Abstrack: Patient satisfaction is a patient\u27s level of feeling that arise as a result of healthcare obtained after patients comparing it to what he expected. Nurse\u27s role as care giver is a role in providing nursing care either directly or indirectly to a patient with a problem solving approach in accordance with the method and the nursing process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of nurse\u27s role as care giver with patient satisfaction level. The research method is used descriptive analytic with cross sectional design.The sampling technique in research is saturated sampling with 31 samples. Data collected by using a questionnaire. The results based on statistical spearman test with 95% significance level (ɑ ≤ 0,05) obtained by value p = 0,000 which is smaller than ɑ (0,05) with Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Conclusion there is a meaningful relationship between nurse\u27s role as care giver with patient satisfaction level in the emergency department RSU. GMIBM Monompia Kotamobagu Bolaang Mongondow district. The advice for nurses to continue to enhance its role as a provider of nursing care and can improve the planning of nursing will be done about the relationship nurse\u27s role as a care giver at patient satisfaction level
