: Improving University Students\u27 Ability in Constructing Standardized Chemistry Tests Using Discussion-Presentation-Response Method. This study aims to improve the quality of test constructed by 25 students of Chemistry Education Department, State University of Malang using discussion presentation-response method. The students firstly discussed the test they constructed in groups and then presented the test to the class to get some suggestions. This test was tried out to the students of younger generation. The result showed that the method effectively improved students\u27 ability in constructing a standardized Chemistry test. The test was of good qualities covering reliability, validity, discri mination index,and difficulty index. However, in general, the distractors did not function as expected
