Abstract
Diante disso, a população idosa
It is very hard to accept being old in a society where young people are always in the media, showing all
their vigour and health. On the other hand, to be old is to become aware that the decline in health and
life is something with no return. To be old is to witness that your life is in full decay, and this entails a
series of consequences. Youth becomes just a remembrance kept in the memory and the mirror shows
every day a wrinkled and flabby face. Education plays a primary role in the formation of a more conscious
citizen since it is possible through it to change habits, always in the search for a better quality of life. The
higher the level of education of the population, the better the health index will be. A more literate society
is better equipped to prevent illnesses, thus valuing the preservation. The use of ICT nowadays is
increasingly present. Moreover, it tends to reach every world society. Therefore, the elderly population
needs to be prepared for the technological world that is unfolding before their eyes. The methodology
used was based on a literature review, to obtain current ideas on the subject in question.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
