Abstract

It is needed the participation of the employees in order to develop the company. In this case the company must develop the work ethic of the employee so that the company is not left behind by the other companies in facing the globalization era. With good human resources and good spirit, the company can achieve the goals. Besides that with good work spirit, the satisfaction of the workers can be achieved. To achieve the workers satisfaction, it is neede the motivation from the managers. A person will feel satisfied if his I her economic needs can be fulljilled. However the workers satisfaction can be influenced by other factors ;such as psychological, social and physical fators. In this research the writer used psychological, social and physical factors. In this research the writer used psychological and social factor and the satisfaction variabel that is expressed in both variables gives good. influence on the satisfaction of the employees of PDAM Kota Magelang. The dominance is social variable.
