Abstract
Relatório de estágio apresentado à Escola Superior de Comunicação Social como parte dos requisitos para obtenção de grau de mestre em Jornalismo.Tendo por base um jornalismo desportivo português tão tripartido entre Benfica, Sporting e FC Porto, importa perceber onde reside o espaço para os restantes 15 clubes na imprensa escrita portuguesa, mais precisamente no jornal Record, onde realizei o meu estágio.
O presente relatório de estágio foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Jornalismo da Escola Superior de Comunicação Social de Lisboa, tendo com o objetivo e finalidade a obtenção do grau de mestre.
Após três meses de estágio (9 de janeiro de 2017 a 6 de abril) na publicação desportiva da Cofina, no jornal Record, a pergunta de partida: “qual o espaço dos clubes ‘pequenos’ nas manchetes do Record?”, foi respondida ao longo do trabalho e o que poderia ser entendido como uma informação conhecida à partida, com o desenvolver da investigação e do estágio, acabou por ser mais do que isso. A relação dos restantes 15 clubes da 1ª Liga ao destaque em manchete prende-se, quase na totalidade, com a alavanca dos ‘três grandes’, sendo que nunca nenhum surge sozinho nas manchetes. Tudo isto tendo por base uma escolha em termos de critérios de noticiabilidade algo dúbia.
O relatório contém várias abordagens, contrapontos e visões dos mais diferentes autores sobre aspetos essenciais na construção das manchetes e do jornalismo em si: a objetividade, os critérios de noticiabilidade e a génese da notícia.ABSTRACT: Based on a portuguese sports journalism so divided into Benfica, Sporting and FC Porto, it is important to know where can we find the space for the 15 remaining clubs in the portuguese press, more precisely, in the newspapper where the internship was: Record.
The present work is part of a Master's in Journalism and was developed in the Superior School of Communication and Media Studies (ESCS) of Lisbon, with the objective of obtaining a master's degree in Journalism.
After three months of internship (from January 9 to April 6 2017) in the sports newspaper of the company Cofina, called Record, the initial question: “what is the space for ‘small clubs’ in the headlines?" is answered throughout the report, and what could be understood mainly as an information known since the beginning, with the development of the investigation and of the internship, it ended to be much more than that. The connection of the 15 remaining clubs of the portuguese first football division with the highlights in the headline is attached, almost everytime, with the three major clubs in the portuguese football league. None of which appears alone in the headline, with a selection of news-value somehow questionable.
This report contains various approaches, counterpoints and visions of a wide variety of authors on key aspects in making headlines and on journalism itself: objectivity, news-value and basis of news.N/
