Abstract

This study aimed to identify the forms of plagiarism committed Unsyiah Physics Education students in the preparation of the thesis. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The sample in this study amounted to 30 grains CD thesis were taken by using simple random sampling of a number of 134 student thesis in 2016. In this study, researchers focused on identifying forms of plagiarism theoretical foundation or Chapter II by using data analysis techniques with the help of software http://www.smallseotools.com/ to identify forms of plagiarism based online references. Collecting data in this study using the method of documentation and interviews. The data in this study using a percentage formula p = f / n x100%. These results indicate a form of plagiarism which refers to indicators of the (full plagiarism) identified a number of 80.55% with a frequency of 464. This form of plagiarism which refers to the second indicator (plagiarism but random) identified a number of 15.8% with a frequency of 91. This form of plagiarism, which refers the third indicator (plagiarism / quoting and added my own opinion) identified a number of 3.3% with a frequency of 19. This form of plagiarism which refers to the fourth indicator (plagiarism / quoting the sentence itself) identified a number of 0:35 with a frequency of 2%
