Abstract

: Noise-induced hearing loss, hearing loss is either a part or the whole hearing, irreversible, occurs in one or both ears, can be mild, moderate or severe, occurs because of exposure to continuous noise from the environment. Noise-induced hearing loss varies among individuals. The specific objective of this study was to determine the intensity of noise in the workplace ( discotheque ), which can cause hearing loss . This research is a descriptive study using cross sectional approach. The results of this study are of hearing loss by 40 %. Ranging from mild hearing loss and hearing loss 35 % was 5 %, it can be concluded that working in an environment of high -intensity noise can affect auditory function, so in need of extension and outreach to workers in nightclubs so they know about noise-induced hearing loss
