Abstract

[Tittle : Proposed Application Of Six Sigma Methodology To Improve Quality Products Cables NYY 4x 16 mm2 (Case Study at Pt . Sucaco Tbk Jakarta )] Quality is an absolute owned by a product, where a good quality will show increasingly competitive in the global market as well as globally. The quality of products is determined by how well the characteristics of quality in accordance with what consumers need. PT Sucaco is a company engaged in the cable industry. As a multinational company, PT Sucaco required to produce quality cables and in accordance with established specifications. But in fact in the production process there is often a problem on the results of bending a thin cable. It is necessary for a quality control by using statistical quality control (Statistical Process Control), which is where one of the methods that implement Six Sigma SPC is a method. In this method of research conducted through five stages, namely DMAIC: define, measure, anayze, improve, and control. The variables used were thick inner sheat NYY cable 4x16 mm2 .. The results of the data analysis concludes that the cable bending process in PT Sucaco reached a level of 2,08 sigma-Sigma capability, while the bending process capability is still less than 1
