Abstract

: Improving Student Results using Process Skills Approach in Teaching Social Studies in the Elementary School fourth grade 05 Beruak. This thesis aims to improve student learning outcomes in social science learning by using the approach of process skills in elementary school 05 beruak. The method used is an experimental method to form research is action research. The results obtained are the ability of the teacher in preparing lesson plan in the first cycle a total score of 13 and an average of 2.6. Ability of teachers to implement the learning in the first cycle a total of 20.68 and an average 2.58 increase in cycle II with a total score of 17.33 and an average of 3.46. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 47.5 increase in cycle II with an average 65.Dari analysis of the data obtained, it is shown that the use of process skills approach that can improve student learning outcomes Elementary School fourth grade 05 Beruak on learning of Social Sciences
