Abstract

Prambanan temple is one of the UNESCO world heritage site, the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and one of the most beautiful temples in Southeast Asia. The architecture of the building is tal l and slender shaped according to the Hindu architecture in general with the main temple of Shiva temple which has a height reaching 47 meters in the center of the complex cluster of to wering temples smaller. As one of the grandest temples in South east Asia, Prambanan temple is the main attraction of tourists visit from all over the world (Wikipedia. Org). Given the advantages and importance of monitoring this Prambanan temple, then need to be mapped in the area of Prambanan temple.Supervision needs to be done as often as possible, taking into account the ease and relatively low cost, method of mapping a small format aerial photographs using a quadcopter with a certain precision to be one of the main options. Implementation mapping Prambanan in this study using small format aerial photography mapping with RC multirotor (quadcopter), making it easier to set the starting fly (take off) and landing (landing). With RC quadcopter, the problem of foundation is not an obstacle anymore.The objectives of this study was to determine the level of accuracy obtained by using the image of aeromodelling quadcopter and the camera Go Pro Hero 3 Black 12 megapixels with field results. And analyze the advantages and disadvantages mapping using quadcopter aeromodelling planer ides and a camera Go Pro Hero 3 Black 12 megapixels.This observation was conducted for 3 times the cost and generates more than 768 and only 404 photos that can be used. Based on the research results, the image has a known level of accuracy range of 0-2 pixels. Based on the results of these ranges, it is known that the modeling does not contain harsh and systematic errors. Based on the measurement results of the model with field results have a difference about 1,727 cm and each photo has a difference of between 2cm and4cm. While the advantages and disadvantages mapping using quadcopter aeromodelling planer ides and a camera Go Pro Hero 3 Black 12 megapixels is fast, effective and efficient, so the flight was conducted under the clouds reduce the cost of the rental so do not need a special plane with a camera hole. The cost used is cheaper compared to regular aerial photography and can be done by Indonesian human resources, especially in areas to support the program of regional autonomy. The disadvantage is to a large area photo frame required more than the usual aerial photographs, is not suitable for the manufacture of a contour map
