Penerimaan Diri Pada Remaja Penderita Leukemia

Abstract

Leukemia is a cancer commonly suffered in adolescent below 15 years old. This disease willaffect adolescent\u27s daily activities and personality. The aim of this study is to analyze selfacceptancein adolescent with leukemia and factors influencing it. Research approach isqualitative research with case study. The participant of this study is a 14 years oldadolescence with leukemia type ALL first stadium. Result shows that she can accept the realityand had good self-acceptance. It can be described from her understanding of her ill. Sheknows and receives her limitations and excesses. She also feels confidence for her condition.She admitted the support from her family as well as friends and neighbors. The support offamily, friends, and neighbors help her to have good self-acceptance as adolescent withleukemia
