Perbandingan Perencanaan Perkerasan Kaku Dengan Menggunakan Metode Pd-t-14-2003 Dan Aashto 93 Pada Jalan Kartini Depok

Abstract

Planning rigid pavement in Indonesia known as Method 1993 and Pd AASHTO T-14-2003. Researchers want to compare the two methods above with the object of research on Jalan Raya Kartini kecamatam Pancoran Mas, Depok. Issues raised is how thick rigid pavement in accordance with the existing conditions and parameters of any parameters that influence the design of rigid pavement thickness. The method used is to calculate rigid pavement thickness with both the above method that begins with the collection of primary data (LHR) and secondary data (CBR, the existing pavement thickness = 20 cm and LHR previous year). Results of analysis of traffic on the roads Kartini planning ESAL 20 years amounted to 14,386,583. Pavement thickness obtained from methods of AASHTO 1993 by 22.5 cm, while the pavement thickness obtained from methods Pd T-14-2003 18.8 cm.Output existing research suggests that thick is safe to use during the life of the plan (20 years), the existing thick because thicker than one of the methods used. Although there are several different parameters, this is because those parameters are adjusted each - each country where such methods are created. But both methods are equally based on the ability of concrete to resist bending loads
