Various attempts have been made to reduce plastic waste. One of the attempts is to convert plastic waste into energy sources. The process of converting waste plastics involves several stages of the process, one of which is the pyrolysis (thermal cracking). Pyrolysis is the decomposition process of plastic waste and distillation process without O2 at high temperatures (500-1000 °C). Results of pyrolysis process is solids and liquids forms. With the reactor temperature at 500 °C, pyrolysis equipment that has been made to produce crude oil with 40% yield. Crude oil from this research was tested by using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry which is contains Benzene, Toluene, Octane, Naphthalene,Xylene, Cyclohexane and Cyclopentane Compounds
