Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis Penyebaran Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus : Kabupaten Kudus)

Abstract

One of the common diseases which often occur in the region in Indonesia is Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. Geographic information system (GIS) is one of the tools which can be used to deliver information of disease distribution and to help analyze the area\u27s conditions to determine what actions must be taken to deal with the disease. The existence of the SIG is expected to represent the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Kudus Regency.To produce this web-based Geographic Information System application, the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever cases data from 2007 until 2008 and the administration map used to represent the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Kudus Regency are needed. This Web-based Geographic Information System is started with the collection of data, followed by the development of software programs using XAMPP for a local server and MySQL database with phpMyAdmin feature in it, Dreamweaver CS4 to the process of making the program code, database integration with the Google Maps API.The results of programming obtained from the Kudus Regency web based application of the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever cases which can be accessed on the site http://kudus-gisdbd.com by showing the location and fairly complex information which presented through maps Google Maps API
