Abstract

Batam merupakan kota industri dimana mayoritas penduduknya bekerja di industri galangan kapal dan elektronika. Pekerja di kota batam masih banyak yang tidak bekerja dengan alat-alat yang ergonomi. Berdasarkan observasi diketahui adanya perbedaan ukuran tubuh dari mahasiswa pekerja galangan kapal dan elektronika itu berbeda sehingga penelitian ini akan mengarah pada analisa perbandingan antropometri bentuk tubuh mahasiswa pekerja galangan kapal dan elektronika.Antropometri merupakan pengukuran dimensi tubuh, untuk mengetahui ukuran dari masing-masing objek penelitian. Pengukuran antropometri bentuk tubuh yang diambil meliputi panjang kepala, lebar kepala, dagu ke puncak kepala, lebar telapak tangan, lebar maksimum telapak tangan, panjang pangkal telapak tangan, lebar kaki, panjang telapak kaki, dan lebar bahu. Perhitungan ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa pekerja galangan kapal dan mahasiswa pekerja elektronika dengan umur 20-30 tahun yang bekerja diatas 3 tahun. Uji T merupakan perhitungan statistik yang menunjukkan perbandingan antropometri bentuk tubuh.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui perbandingan bentuk tubuh mahasiswa pekerja galangan kapal dan mahasiswa pekerja elektronika ialah lebar bahu dan panjang kepala. Hasil ini sebabkan oleh pengaruh aktivitas pekerjaan sehari-hari mahasiswa pekerja galangan kapal lebih banyak menggunakan bahu daripada aktivitas pekerjaan mahasiswa pekerja elektronika.Kata Kunci: Antropometri, perhitungan statistik, Uji T Batam is an industrial city where the majority of population works in the shipyard industry and electronics. Based on observations found differences in body size of students shipyard worker and electronics so that this research will lead to a comparative analysis of anthropometric form student body shipyard worker and electronics.Anthropometry is the measurement of body dimensions to determine the size of each objects. The measurements of anthropometric taken shape includes head length, head width, chin to the top of head, the width of the palm of the hand, the maximum width of palm, length of the heel of hand, foot width, long legs and shoulder width. This calculation is performed on the student shipyard workers and students of electronics workers with 20-30 years of age who worked over 3 years. T test is a statistical calculation that shows the comparison anthropometry body shape.The research results revealed comparative form of a student body of shipyard workers and students of electronics workers are shoulder width and length of the head. These results caused by the influence of daily work activities students shipyard workers shoulder more use than the activity of student job electronics workers
