fenómeno del sexting, que ha llevado a grandes consecuencias físicas, psicológicas, e incluso
jurídicas. Por tanto, el presente trabajo es una prueba piloto que tiene como objetivo conocer si
existen creencias en los mitos románticos en una pequeña muestra de adultos jóvenes entre 18 y 25
años y, a su vez, conocer si llevan a cabo la práctica de sexting. A continuación se pretenderá
explorar si se cumplen las diversas hipótesis en relación a la edad, el sexo o el nivel de estudios con
las variables estudiadas. Para la recogida de datos se realizó un cuestionario ad-hoc para la obtención
de datos sociodemográficos, así como la “Escala de mitos sobre el amor”, de Barrón et al. (1999),
para las creencias en los mitos románticos, y diez ítems del “Sexting Behavior Questionnaire”, de Dir
(2012), para las conductas de sexting. Tras la recogida de datos, se volcaron todos los datos en el
programa IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 para Windows y se procedió a su posterior análisis estadístico:
análisis descriptivos, frecuencias, Prueba T, D de Cohen, se obtuvo la fiabilidad y se realizaron las
correlaciones bivariadas de Pearson correspondientes para la obtención del objetivo.Gender violence is one of the major problems at present, together with the irruption of the
