Abstract

The aim of this quantitative study is to know the state of the situation of female theses, directors, co-directors and consultants in non-dental theses deposited in the Library "Prof. Dr. José Arce ", from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Buenos Aires, with the aim of knowing what place they occupy and how they have arisen in the chronology from 1937 to 2015, to identify: in the first instance, those who have Marked an innovative process within the scientific production, secondly, to help establish transparent systems for the evaluation of such production, and finally, to analyze the election criteria with a gender perspective and to detect possible biases, which are cementing the Academic career of many women within Dentistry
