Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) are widely existing in soil ecosystems that formed by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi with most of the terrestrial plants. Arbuscular mycorrhiza can improve plant salt tolerance. This article reviewed the domestic and interna tional progresses that about the arbuscular mycorrhiza improving the salt resistance of plant. In the perspective of plant physiology, the mechanism that host plant response to salt stress in the help of AM associations were discussed. Meanwhile, several worthy of further exploration issues about regulation mechanism of AM against salt stress in molecular level were presented.</p
