Este estudio es una aportación dentro de la línea de investigación Género y Educación desarrollada
por el Grupo de Investigación, Evaluación y Tecnología Educativa de la Universidad
de Sevilla integrado en el Plan Andaluz de I+D+I. La finalidad del mismo es identificar las
representaciones culturales (estereotipos) de género interiorizadas por los jóvenes y adolescentes
que cursan enseñanza secundaria (entre 14 y 18 años). Metodológicamente se resuelve mediante
un estudio descriptivo. Se trabaja con 25 centros de enseñanzas secundarias de Sevilla y una
muestra de 455 alumnos, representada por un 48,2% de alumnos y un 51,8% de alumnas. Los
resultados obtenidos indican una alta interiorización de los estereotipos culturales de género en
los jóvenes y adolescentes. De estos resultados se derivan propuestas de intervención pedagógica
para trabajar la igualdad de género en los centros educativos de educación secundaria.This study is a contribution within the line of investigation Gender and Education developed
by the Group of Investigation, Evaluation and Educative Technology of the University of Seville
integrated in the Andalusian Plan of R+D+I (Research + Development + Innovation). The purpose
of this article is to identify the internalization of cultural patterns of gender (stereotyping
gender) in the teenagers (14 - 18 years old) who attend secondary lessons. Methodologically it is solved by means of a descriptive study. Our sample includes 25 secondary training school of
Seville and 455 students, (48.2% male and 51.8% female). The obtained results indicate a high
internalization of cultural patterns of gender (stereotyping gender) in the teenagers. From these
results, proposals of pedagogical intervention are derived to work the equality of gender in the
school
