Hubungan Pola Makan Dengan Status Gizi Pada Anak Usia 3-5 Tahun Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tompaso Kecamatan Tompaso

Abstract

: Based on the data, there is a lack of nutritional status in children aged 3-5 years in districh health centers Tompaso. Diet is an efforts to improve/increase the nutritional status by fulfill the needs of a child's nutritional status. The purpose on this study, to determine the relationship of diet and nutritional status in children aged 3-5 yers in districh health centers Tompaso. The study design is a cross sectional it is a study where the diet (type of food, frequency of meals, and method) as an independent variable and nutritional status as the dependent variable at once in the same time. The population is all the children aged 3-5 years, who live in Tompaso area with 150 respondent as the samples. The data was collected by questionnaire and calculation of nutritional status as measured by weight/age (W/A). Data analysis using SPSS programe by using the chi-square at a significance level of α = 0,05. The result of the study are 51 respondents who have a good diet with good nutritional status, 4 respondents have a good diet with less nutritional status, 8 respondents did not have a good diet with good nutritional status, and 87 respondents did not have a good diet with less nutritional status. The conclusion there is a strong between the diet and nutritional status on children 3-5 years old with p (0,000)
