Crossing of rose and F1 plants selection were carried out at Cipanas Research Station,Indonesian Ornamental Crops Research Institute, at 1,100 m asl. on year 2000. Clones selected was observed throughparticipatory breeding with PT Inggu Laut (Batu, East Java) and PT Sekar Asri (Lembang, West Java). The resultsshowed that clone No. 41 has unique bright red color (red purple group 57 A),with long and straight stem (fulfilledthe requirement for premium class), big flower bud and flower diameter, with petal number more than Putri as thecontrol variety
