Analisis Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Dan Pelatihan Terhadap Kinerja Aparatur Pada Badan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Maluku Tenggara

Abstract

This study aimed to understand how the implementation of education and training, particularly with regard to systems of recruitment of participants, participant curriculum, teaching methods, sources of funding obtained, the facilities available and types of training that followed and what influence it had on the performance of the Southeast Maluku District Environmental Management Agency (BPLH) staff after participating. The study used qualitative analysis. Respondents were civil servants at Southeast Maluku District Corporate A Group Management Environment Living (BPLH). The respondents were purposely selected, consisting of civil servants who participated in the education and training program, the colleagues and the direct supervisors of those civil servants. Data collection used in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis used interactive models with the ultimate goal of knowing whether there was any relationship between participation in education and training programs with performance. The results of this study indicated that the civil servants\u27 performance significantly improved through education and training. The improvement could be detected from the increasing ability and willingness to work of the staff, where the knowledge gained from the training could be used in their work, minimizing the gap between skills and tasks. Having new skills in various fields increased labor productivity and thus work performance
