Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of budget planning models on employee performance through psychological capital as a mediating variable. Psychological Capital focuses on developing and building the mental strength of employees. Budget planning model will reinforce a positive mental state employees with budgetary participation, effective communication and monitoring conducted by the employer. Positive mental reinforcement resulted in improved employee performance. Psychological Capital employee needs to do to develop positive behaviors that can increase employee performance. The population of this study are civil servants (PNS) in 42 institutions(SKPD) in Banten Province. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. SEM data analysis methods using Partial Least Square (PLS). Test quality and reliability testing includes testing the validity of the software Partial Least Square (PLS). The findings of this study are: (1) There is the influence of Budget Planning Models on employee performance, (2) There is the influence of the model Psychological Capital Budget Planning, (3) influences of Psychological Capital on Employee Performance, (4) There is the influence of the Budget Planning Model Employee Performance mediated by Psychological Capital
