Abstract

: The Perspective of Street Child on God in the City of Medan. According to Islamic teaching, every man naturally believes in the divine will that directs them to be consistent with this nature, and in this respect, the case of street child is not an exception. This writing attempts to study the rate of religiosity of Muslim street child in Medan city. This qualitative and descriptive study reveals that although still believe in the existence of God, the majority of the children never think and some even doubt the existence of God and His Characteristics due to the assumption that they have never benefited from his grace in minimizing the problems being faced. Ritual and prayers cause a fuss and considered to be useless acts because it produced neither money nor happiness, and worse still, the Muslim community did not provide religious guidance for them
