miR-33a regulates proliferation and metastasis of breast cancer cells

Abstract

背景:微小RNA(microRNA)是一类长度在19-23个碱基、非编码功能的小RNA,在许多生物中都有表达。pri-miRNA在细胞内,经过胞核和胞质中一系列的加工修饰后形成成熟的miRNA。成熟microRNA能够通过与靶基因3’UTR区结合形成近完全或不完全的配对,导致靶基因mRNA降解,从而调控靶基因的表达。随着生物测序技术的发展,目前在人体中已发现2500多个人源miRNA.研究证明miRNA在多种恶性肿瘤生物学功能中起着重要作用。比如:乳腺癌、胃癌、结肠癌、肝癌和肺癌等。乳腺癌是引起成年女性死亡最常见的肿瘤之一,已发现有多种miRNA的表达异常。miRNA通过调控靶基因影响肿瘤的发...Background: MicroRNAs (miRs) are small single-stranded18-22 nt RNAs , which function as key negative regulators of post-transcriptional modulation in almost all biological processes.
