Study on preparation of VIP nanoparticles and its protection on the cell model of Parkinson’s disease

Abstract

帕金森病是继老年痴呆症之后世界第二大威胁人类健康的神经退行性疾病,已经严重影响1~2%老年人口的生活质量。随着生物医学技术的迅速发展,目前已经发现许多对中枢疾病(如帕金森病、老年痴呆症)具有治疗活性的多肽和蛋白类药物。但血脑屏障的存在,很大程度上限制了这些药物的临床给药和治疗作用的发挥。因此,研究多肽和蛋白类药物的新型给药系统,具有很大的研究价值和社会意义。 血管活性肠肽(Vasoactiveintestinalpolypeptide,VIP)是具有重要调节作用的神经多肽,它对帕金森病和老年痴呆症的防治都有较好的作用。但是血管活性肠肽在体内的半衰期较短,稳定性差,不易透过血脑屏障,因此和其他...Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder, after Alzheimer’s disease.
