Data of approx. 325 organic and conventional grain legume fields between 2015 and 2018 will be analysed regarding agronomic issues. On this selection of farms that are
involved in the exemplary demonstration networks of the German governments protein crop strategy additionally to the data collected in the network, management information
will be evaluated and various soil and plant parameters will be measured. The main goal is the identification of agronomic factors influencing the success of the grain
legume cultivation. First results show the higher weed pressure and the closer connection of weed cover ratio and legume plant density in organic compared to conventional systems
