The aim of this paper is to present a part of Pedro
Bidagor’s unpublished fieldwork, particularly some
unknown drawings that he sketched out during the
months in which he was developing the Provincial
Plan for the Gipúzcoa Urban Planning. The text tries
also to recreate the particular urban context of the
drawings and the historical process of the development
of the Plan. This subject serves us as well as a
pretext to think about the particular way in which architects
use drawings to reflect and develop their own
ideas
