Anthropocene versus anthropo-scenes

Abstract

Position-paper on "anthropocene"published in japanese in the Newsletter of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, 2017, N°65, p.3-4.The paper provides some details on the "anthropo-scenes" approach.This position-paper discussed the relevance of the paradigm of the anthropocene from the perspective of social sciences. Focusing on the socio-ecological consequences of the implementation of a renewable energy market in Africa, we argue that the anthropocene is already becoming a reality. Then we suggest the need to rescale the understanding of global environmental changes at the level of what i suggest to describe as "anthropo-scenes"
