Can dark matter annihilations explain the AMS-02 positron data?

Abstract

We show that no dark matter model with the conventional isotropic density distribution can provide a satisfactory explanation of the cosmic positron excess, while being consistent with Fermi-LAT data on diffuse gamma-ray background.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures, to appear in the proceedings of the 52nd Rencontres de Moriond conference (VHEPU), La Thuile, Italy, March 18-25, 201
