Todo ser humano cuenta con potencial creativo, pero una serie de limitaciones y restricciones –adquiridas, la mayoría de ellas- le impide incrementar esta capacidad; sin embargo, un estudio del proceso de la creatividad muestra cómo ésta puede aprovecharse al máximo para la solución de problemas en las organizaciones. ABSTRACT: A description of creativity through the modes of production, and the relevant aspects that stimulate or hamper creativity, and a historical analysis of the needs which have led man to crate the different systems of production and the role that creativity has played in the development of organizational and managerial theories. Every human being has a creative potential, but a series of limitations and restrictions –most of them acquired- keeps them from increasing this ability; nevertheless, a study of the creativity process shows how to take full advantage of it to solve problems in the organizations.
