Fly ash-based sorbents

Abstract

Import 29/09/2010V ČR ročně vzniká asi 10 mil. tun popílku z energetických provozů. Pouze jedna třetina nachází další uplatnění. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, zda existuje možnost využití elektrárenského popílku jako sorpčního materiálu pro zachytávání oxidu uhličitého. Byly odzkoušeny metody chemické modifikace uhlíkatých podílů zahrnující oxidaci, nitraci a zavedení aminoskupiny.About 10 million tons of fly ash are released from power plants in the Czech Republic each year. Only one third of these finds further use. The aim of my thesis was to determine the possibility of further use of fly ash as a sorption material for CO2 capture.
