ELECTRONIC THESIS AND DISSERTATION UNSYIAHTITLEGAMBARAN HISTOLOGI DAN HISTOMORFOMETRI KELENJAR ASESORIS KELAMIN SAPI ACEHABSTRACTGAMBARAN HISTOLOGI DAN HISTOMORFOMETRI KELENJAR ASESORIS KELAMIN SAPI ACEHABSTRAK	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran histologi dan histomorfometri kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh. Kelenjarasesoris kelamin sapi aceh dikoleksi dari tiga ekor sapi aceh jantan dewasa berumur 3 tahun dengan kondisi sehat, kemudiandipotong di Rumah Potong Hewan Kota Banda Aceh. Kelenjar asesoris kelamin terdiri atas kelenjar vesikula seminalis, prostat, danbulbourethralis yang kemudian diproses hingga menjadi sediaan histologi dengan ketebalan 4 Âµm dan diwarnai dengan pewarnaanhematoksilin-eosin (HE). Rata-rata Â±SD diameter dan ketebalan epitel kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh secara berurutansebagai berikut: vesikula seminalis diameter 156,2Â±1,9 Âµm, dengan ketebalan epitel 19,9Â±1,4 Âµm, prostat diameter55,2Â±0,9 Âµm, dengan ketebalan epitel 16,8Â±0,6 Âµm, dan bulbourethralis diameter 105,0Â±2,5 Âµm, dengan ketebalan epitel33,1Â±1,3 Âµm. Struktur histologi kelenjar asesoris kelamin sapi aceh memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda. Pengukuran terhadaphistomorfometri pada kelenjar vesikula seminalis memiliki ukuran diameter lobus yang lebih besar dan kelenjar bulbourethralismemiliki ketebalan lapisan epitel yang lebih tinggi.Histology Description and Histomorphometry of Accessory Sex Glands of Aceh CattleABSTRACT	The objective of this study was to describe the histology and histomorphometry of the accessory sex glands of aceh cattle. Theaccessory sex glands were collected from three healthy 3-year-old adult aceh cattle, and then slaughtered in the Banda Aceh CityAnimal Slaughterhouse. The genital accessory glands consist of the seminal vesicle, prostate, and bulbourethralis glands which arethen processed to a histologic preparation with a 4 Î¼m thickness and stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. The mean Â±SD diameter and thickness of the epithelial gland of the aceh cattle genitals were sequentially as follows: seminal vesicles diameter156.2 Â± 1.9 Î¼m, with epithelial thickness of 19.9 Â± 1.4 Î¼m, prostate diameter 55.2 Â± 0 , 9 Î¼m, with epithelial thickness of16.8 Â± 0.6 Î¼m, and bulbourethralis diameter 105.0 Â± 2.5 Î¼m, with epithelial thickness of 33.1 Â± 1.3 Î¼m. The histologicalstructure of the aceessory sex glands in aceh cattle is different characteristics. Measurements of histomorphometry of seminalvesicle gland have larger diameter lobe size and bulbourethralis gland have higher epithelial layer thickness.
