This, in turn, negatively influenced the formation of the methodology and methods of its analysis in enterprises. Therefore, an objective need arises in the search for new ways to effectively use the resource potential of enterprises, including a number of issues: an analysis of the economic essence of the resource potential, its content, properties, structure, state, forecasting, efficiency of use, as well as its impact on the main indicators of the enterprise. Market conditions of enterprises require the adoption of optimal management decisions regarding the determination of production volumes, selection of target sales markets for products, ensuring profitable activities and a stable economic situation of an enterprise, which implies an optimal combination and effective use of all the resources of the enterprise. In modern conditions, the mechanism for managing the resource potential of enterprises does not fully meet the objectives of increasing the efficiency of their work, obtaining high end results and further development. This problem is particularly relevant because of the limited resources themselves, which requires a constant search for ways to more fully utilize them. One of the most important tasks of the development of production is to ensure production mainly by increasing its efficiency and fuller use of internal reserves. For this, it is necessary to use the fixed assets and production facilities more rationally. In the conditions of scientific and technical progress, the growth of capital intensity of fixed assets, which in modern conditions is complicated by the rapid change of equipment, as well as an increase in capital investments aimed at improving working conditions, is of great importance for the effective use of the enterprise’s resource  160 potential. In our opinion, one of the factors ensuring an increase in the efficiency of using fixed assets in an enterprise is the increase in the share of the active part of fixed assets, in particular, the share of existing machinery and equipment, which will simultaneously increase production for relatively poor labor and, accordingly, increase the capital intensity of process equipment. The company should not only strive to modernize its fixed assets and look for sources of financing, but also use it as efficiently as possible, since the decisive part of increasing production for the whole enterprise can be obtained from existing fixed assets and production capacity, which are several times higher, introduced new funds and power. The use of new technologies is of particular importance in improving the utilization of the main production facilities and increasing the production efficiency at this enterprise. It is necessary to deepen the specialization and combination of production, introduce progressive forms of organization and remuneration, improve the qualifications of personnel and their responsibility for the rational use of the technology assigned to them. Consequently, a low level of return on assets should be the subject of a study of its causes, since with a fall in return on assets, the increase in production costs and, as a result, a decrease in the company's profits are inextricably linked, which, in turn, leads to a drop in the profitability index. As you can see, a significant increase in return on assets can be achieved by improving the structure of fixed production assets. Increasing the value of more active assets per unit cost of less active (passive) funds to the optimal level also significantly increases the efficiency of using tools. The best results can be achieved if technically restructured production in time, introduce new technologies, more productive and economical. The economic value of the results obtained is to improve the methodological approaches to the diagnosis of the resource potential of light industry enterprises and the further development of theoretical aspects of the diagnosis of the enterprise. The development of any enterprise depends on the efficient use of all available resources. The availability of resources serves as the material basis that determines the production capabilities of the enterprise. The resource potential of the enterprise is a complex system that combines fixed assets, technology, information, labor and energy resources that are at the disposal of the enterprise and are  161 necessary for the implementation of production activities. Сьогодні все більше вітчизняних підприємств для визначення цінності тієї чи іншої посади для підприємства, а відповідно і розмірів оплати праці працівників використовують систему грейдів. Система грейдів, що прийшла до нас з США, на думку багатьох експертів, є найкращим рішенням для побудови прозорої та простої системи оплати праці. Грейдингова система об’єднує посади, що наявні на підприємстві, в блоки – грейди, в залежності від значущості робіт. Як правило, число грейдів близько або відповідає числу ієрархічних рівнів в організації [2]. Використання грейдингової системи дозволяє підприємству визначити цінність існуючих посад для досягнення стратегічних цілей, побудувати ефективну систему винагороди співробітників, оптимізувати фонд оплати праці за рахунок створення єдиних правил залежності посадового окладу від. Система грейдів оптимальна для використання на крупних та середніх підприємствах: працівник може збільшити свою заробітну плату не лише перейшовши на іншу посаду, як це відбувається при вертикальній побудові кар'єри, а і у своєму грейді, наприклад, за рахунок одержання освіти, через підвищення ваги фактору знання.
