На примере истории сварки отмечается возможность плановых прогнозов, основанных на открытиях фундаментальных наук. Приводятся примеры "случайных" появлений новых технологий, которые решили проблемы научно-технического прогресса и которые нашли широкое применение в промышленности.The value of history of development of technologies is examined for prognostication of production technologies.
