Nanostructuring of carbide ceramics in the process of mechanical activation of metal-ceramic composite powders

Abstract

In this paper, the effect of mechanical activation on the grinding of titanium carbide in the composition of a "titanium-titanium carbide" composite metal-ceramic powder was studied. The regimes that make it possible to achieve the refinement of both the powder as a whole and the carbide component are described. The results of microscopy of the obtained powders are presented, including metallography and transmission electron microscopy
