Realignments and ruptures: the transformations in the union field in Córdoba at the end of the 20th century

Abstract

Este artículo explora la dinámica política y gremial previa a la fractura de la CGT Regional Córdoba en el año 2000. A la vez trata de reconocer las tensiones que llevaron a su quiebre y caracterizar a los principales gremios que conformaron a uno de los espacios de ruptura; la CGT Rodríguez Peña. La hipótesis departida plantea que la llegada al gobierno de Unión por Córdoba tensionó los diferentes intereses sindicales, redefiniendo posiciones en el mismo espacio.Para esto, se realiza una reconstrucción histórica de la dinámica sindical durante la década de 1990 a partir de un análisis de contenido del periódico local La Voz del Interior.This article explore the political and union dynamics before to the fracture of the Córdoba Regional CGT in 2000. It tries to recognize the tensions that led to its breakdown and to characterize the main unions that made up the CGT Rodríguez Peña. The starting hypothesis states that the arrival to the Unión por Córdoba strained the different union interests, redefining positions in the same field. We will realize a historical reconstruction of union dynamics during the 1990s based on the analysis of the local newspaper La Voz del Interior.Fil: Gerbaldo, Juan Carlos.
