Devices for teacher training in environmental education, an action research in the Lower Delta of Paraná

Abstract

La presente investigación se sitúa en la región del Delta del Paraná, en la zona del Bajo Delta, cuya población vive en condiciones de gran riqueza natural, aislamiento y ruralidad.Este territorio presenta una compleja problemática ambiental poco abordada por docentes de la región. El objetivo de la tesis fue investigar desde la educación ambientalcómo aportar formación a docentes de la región. Siguiendo una estrategia de investigación acción, se investigó el contexto educativo y se elaboraron e implementaron dispositivos de formación docente en educación ambiental. Esto permitió reflexionar acerca de las representaciones de ambiente de docentes, las características de los dispositivos elaborados y el aporte realizado en términos de profesionalización docente.The present research was conducted in the Paraná Delta region in the Lower Delta, whose population lives in conditions of great natural wealth, isolation and rurality. This territory presents complex environmental problems little addressed by teachers of the region. The objective of the thesis was to investigate from environmental education how to provide training to teachers in the region. Following an action research strategy, the educational context was investigated and training devices were developed and implemented in environmental education.
