Abstract
Este trabajo tiene por objetivo situar históricamente la producción de conocimiento científi co respecto de los fenómenos migratorios. Para ello refl exiona sobre la vinculación del surgimiento y expansión de determinados enfoques teóricos con: a) los principales criterios de producción del conocimiento científi co en general y de las ciencias sociales en particular predominantes en los distintos momentos históricos en los que se desarrollaron; y b) el estado de las condiciones sociales de producción y las tensiones de ellas emergentes en dichos contextos históricos. Es a partir de la vinculación de dichas variables que pueden reconocerse tres momentos diferentes en la producción de conocimiento científi co sobre las migraciones, cada uno con sus consecuentes efectos políticos.This work aims to situate historically the production of scientifi c knowledge of migratory phenomena. In order to achieve this, the paper refl ects on the linkage between the emergence and expansion of certain theoretical approaches with: a) the main criteria of production of scientifi c knowledge in general and the social sciences in particular prevailing in different historical moments in which they were developed; and b) the state of the social conditions of production and the tensions of them emerging in those historical contexts. Linking those variables, it is possible to recognize three different moments in the production of scientifi c knowledge on migration, each one with its resulting political effects.Fil: Carpinetti, Juliana.
