Institutional Architecture and Potentialities of a Center for Social Economy Entrepreneurs in the Province of Santa Fe

Abstract

En un contexto de creciente reconocimiento social y político de lasiniciativas propias del sector de la economía social, acompañado por suprogresiva incorporación a la acción pública, surge en el año 2012 en laciudad de Santa Fe el Centro de Emprendedores de la Economía Social (CEES). Este espacio cogestionado por el Gobierno de la Ciudad de SantaFe, el Gobierno de la Provincia de Santa Fe y la Universidad Nacional delLitoral, nace con el objeto de potenciar recursos y acciones dirigidas alfortalecimiento de actores y prácticas de la economía social. El objeto deeste trabajo es describir y analizar esta experiencia -dando cuenta de suspotencialidades y limitaciones-, a la vez de recuperar las miradas de losdistintos actores que la coordinan, como así también los sentidos queatribuyen a este espacio, a las diversas acciones que allí se desarrollan y alos actores que participan de él.The Center for Entrepreneurs of the Social Economy (Centro de Emprendedores de la Economía Social, CEES) was founded in the city of Santa Fe in the year 2012 within the context of the increasing social and political recognition of social economy initiatives, along with their gradual introduction into the public sphere. This centre, co-managed by the governments of the city and province of Santa Fe, and by the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, was created with the aim of fostering resources and actions intended to strengthen actors and practices of the social economy. The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze this experience accounting for its potentialities and limitations, and to understand the different points of view of actors that coordinate and participate in this area, as well as the meanings assigned and the diversity of actions that take place there.Fil: Massera, Maricel Lorena.
