 Report prepared by Jere Odell, IUPUI University Library Center for Digital Scholarship (Feb. 16, 2017)  IUPUI Open Access Publishing Fund July 2013 – December 2014 Annual Report The IUPUI Open Access Fund underwrites reasonable publication charges for articles published in fee-based, peer-reviewed journals that are openly accessible. This fund addresses changes in scholarly communications while increasing the impact of and access to scholarship created by IUPUI faculty. The fund was established in 2013 as a two-year pilot. A report on the pilot round of funding is available from: http://hdl.handle.net/1805/10179.  Financial support for the Open Access Publishing Fund has been provided by key stakeholders on the campus including University Library, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Ruth Lilly Medical Library, School of Informatics and Computing, School of Science, School of Dentistry, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Nursing, School of Public Health, and School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Fund stakeholders requested that the disbursement methods should encourage diverse participation across schools.
