Proposed satellite position determination systems and techniques for Geostationary Synthetic Aperture Radar

Abstract

This paper proposes two different calibration techniques for Geostationary Synthetic Aperture Radar (GEOSAR) missions requiring a high precision positioning, based on Active Radar Calibrators and Ground Based Interferometry.
