Ecological fruit production – apple

Abstract

Ekološka proizvodnja jabuka, iako u začecima, zbog nezagađene prirode i mnoštva odlika sorata koje uspijevaju u našem klimatu predstavlja ogroman potencijal . Za sadnju treba koristiti dobro selekcionirane sorte te one koje su otporne prema bolestima i štetnicima. Jabuka je najvažnija i najraširenija voćna vrsta u našoj zemlji, a u njenom uzgoju treba uzeti u obzir sve veću potražnju za ekološkim voćem. Najvažniji čimbenici u uzgoju jabuke su tlo, klima, položaj terena i agrotehnika. Prije podizanja nasada treba imati projektni plan, pripremiti tlo, izabrati deklarirane sadnice te kvalitetno pognojiti i pravilno posaditi. Posebnu pažnju treba posvetiti njezi, zaštiti, berbi te skladištenju.Although in its beginning, ecological production of apples represents a great potential due to unpolluted nature and many characteristics of the varieties growing in our climate. Well- selected varieties should be used for planting, as well as those which are resistant to pests and diseases. Apple is the most important and most widespread fruit species in our country and the growing demand for ecological fruits should be taken into account in its growing. The most important factors in growing apples are the soil, climate, terrain position and agrotechnics. Before raising a plantation, one should have a project plan, prepare the soil, choose declared seedlings, then fertilize well and plant properly. A special attention should be paid to care, protection, harvesting and storing
